According to the World Health Organization (WHO), on November 30th, the rate of Covid-19 infection is still high, and the death rate from Covid-19 is over 6.6 million globally. That’s why the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging its people to step up protection against Covid-19 infection, especially by wearing masks in closed areas. At the same time, the Ministry of Health of Cambodia has proclaimed to increase the prevention of transmission of Covid-19 disease during the Global New Year and Khmer New Year by taking the leading measures of three Do not (do not go where many people are, do not go to a closed place, no ventilation and do not touch each other, do not shake hands, do not touch each other’s shoulders) and three protection (wear a mask, wash your hands often and keep a safe distance of one and a half meters) and continue the main guidelines as follows:
- Encourage to do rapid testing for suspected infected with the Covid-19 virus.
- For each individual and family, it is necessary to choose a safe trip and adhere to the three Do not and three Protection measures. If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or are suspected to be positive Covid-19 needs to be tested quickly and stay home.
- Individuals need to be fully Covid-19 vaccinated.
- Choose a safe way to travel to minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission.
